Is Suracode really free?
Yes. The free tier includes one family group, up to three trusted contacts, and scam alerts. Pro unlocks unlimited families, the scam checker, check-ins, and more.
Can you read my safe word?
No. Safe words are encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM before they leave your phone. We store only encrypted ciphertext. We cannot decrypt it and never will.
What data do you collect?
The minimum necessary. We use anonymous IDs — your name, email, and phone number never touch our database. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel at any time. You'll keep Pro features until the end of your billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We'll permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. See our deletion page for full details.
I forgot my PIN (Pocket Proof)
For security, we cannot recover your PIN — it is stored only on your device. If you've forgotten it, you will need to reinstall the app. Any evidence stored locally will be lost unless you have exported it.
Does Suracode work outside the UK?
Yes. Suracode is available in the UK, EU/EEA, United States, Australia, and Canada. Scam alerts and reporting links are localised to your region automatically.
Is this a replacement for the police or emergency services?
No. Our apps are tools to help you stay prepared and keep records. In any emergency, always call 999 (UK), 911 (US), or your local emergency number first.
