Arcoo — App Addendum

This addendum supplements the Dignity Labs Base Terms of Service. By using Arcoo, you agree to both the base terms and this addendum. If there is any conflict, this addendum prevails for Arcoo.

A1. Description of Service

Arcoo is a mobile application that helps you build structured prompts for use with third-party AI services. The App allows you to:

Select a domain (Homework Help, Write Something, Explain Something, Plan Something, Create Something)
Answer a few plain-language questions about what you need
Review a full assembled prompt with safety rules, tone control, and structure
Copy the prompt to your clipboard for pasting into any AI service
Save recent prompts for quick reuse
Track your usage with streaks and badges

Arcoo is not an AI. It produces text prompts, not AI responses. It does not connect to, communicate with, or control any AI service. What you do with the prompt after copying it is entirely your choice and responsibility.

A2. Local-First Architecture

Arcoo is a local-first application. This means:

No accounts: The App does not require sign-in, registration, or any form of account creation
No cloud: Your prompts and data are stored on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to our servers
No AI: The App assembles text from templates and your input. No AI model runs inside the App
No backend: Dignity Labs Ltd does not operate servers for Arcoo data

The only network activity is an automatic check for app updates via Expo Application Services when the App is opened. This transmits your app version and platform only. No personal data or prompt data is sent.

A3. What Arcoo Produces

Arcoo assembles prompts from pre-written templates combined with your input. Each prompt includes:

A role instruction for the AI
Universal safety rules designed to encourage responsible AI behaviour
Domain-specific rules tailored to the type of help you selected
Your input text placed in context
An opening instruction that tells the AI how to begin

You can see the full assembled prompt before copying. There are no hidden instructions. The prompt preview shows exactly what will be placed on your clipboard.

A4. Arcoo-Specific Prohibited Use

In addition to the general prohibited uses in the base terms, you must NOT use Arcoo to:

Build prompts designed to bypass, override, or circumvent the safety features of any AI service
Build prompts intended to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit
Build prompts designed to generate misinformation, disinformation, or fraudulent content (including phishing emails, scam messages, or impersonation)
Build prompts intended to extract confidential, proprietary, or personal information from AI services
Represent Arcoo's prompts as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise)
Remove, modify, or circumvent the safety rules that Arcoo includes in assembled prompts

A5. No Guarantee of AI Behaviour

Arcoo's prompts are designed and tested to encourage responsible AI behaviour across multiple AI services. However:

Different AI services interpret prompts differently. The same prompt may produce different results on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or any other service
AI services update their models regularly. A prompt that works well today may behave differently tomorrow
No prompt can guarantee that an AI will follow every instruction. AI can and does ignore, misinterpret, or override prompt instructions
The safety rules in Arcoo's prompts are an additional layer, not a replacement for the AI service's own safety features

Dignity Labs Ltd is not responsible for any AI output generated when you paste an Arcoo prompt into a third-party AI service. The AI response is produced by the AI provider, not by Arcoo.

A6. Homework Help Domain

The Homework Help domain is designed for parents and guardians to build safe prompts for their children's AI use. It includes age-appropriate safety rules and instructions that encourage learning rather than answer-giving.

Arcoo does not monitor, moderate, or control the AI conversation that follows
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of AI services
The safety rules in Homework Help prompts are guidance for the AI, not a parental control system
Arcoo does not collect any information about children

A7. Intellectual Property

The prompt templates, safety rules, and assembly logic within Arcoo are the intellectual property of Dignity Labs Ltd. You are granted a licence to use the assembled prompts for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

Extract, copy, or redistribute Arcoo's prompt templates or safety rules for commercial purposes
Create a competing product using Arcoo's prompt structure or safety framework
Reverse-engineer the App to extract template logic

The text you enter into input fields remains yours. Arcoo does not claim any rights over your input.

A8. Pricing

Arcoo is currently free to use with no in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced in the future, they will be clearly identified within the App and will not remove access to features that were free at the time you started using them.

A9. Data Loss

Because all data is stored locally on your device:

Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all data including recent prompts, streaks, and badges
Dignity Labs cannot recover lost data
Device damage, loss, or theft may result in permanent data loss
It is your responsibility to copy or share any prompts you wish to keep before uninstalling

A10. Updates

Arcoo may receive updates via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or over-the-air via Expo Application Services. Updates may include new prompt templates, revised safety rules, bug fixes, and new features. Updated safety rules apply to prompts built after the update. Previously saved prompts in your recent history are not modified by updates.
